Unaltered Humans
"Purists" as they like to call themselves, unaltered humans are all natural. They have not been genetically altered or cybernetically enhanced in any way. For many this is a badge of achievement, often percieving those who have been altered as somehow less human.
This sentiment is mirrored however as the genetically enhanced which they refer to as "Genies" refer to the unaltered as "Plebians"; and the cybernetically enhanced which they refer to as "Bots" refer to the unaltered as "Normies".
The vast majority of unaltered humans are from poorer backgrounds, with richer families opting for genetic enhancements for their children before they are born. Many unaltered refuse any option of alteration though, seeing it as debasing and dehumanising. Some have even been known to reject more advanced surgical prosthetics as they see them as a gateway to cybernetic perversion.
These individuals have chosen not to enhance themselves. Sometimes this is out of a sense of purity ... though more often it is that they are too poor to do so.
